13 August 2021

Smartcitizen, let's rest for a while. The vaccination program that we have been campaigning for since early 2021 is now starting to show the results. Vaccination coverage in Jakarta as of August 11, 2021 were at 58.02% for first dose vaccination. That means, more than half of Jakartans already have antibodies against Covid-19. However, our battle is not over yet. Fasten your seat belts, it's time to start the journey to 100% vaccination coverage. For starters, take a look at the latest information about vaccination below!

Vaccination Requirements

There are slight changes and adjustments to the requirements for vaccine recipients in Jakarta:

  1. In good health;

  2. Aged 12 years and over;

  3. Not on medication;

  4. Have no comorbidities;

  5. Not a Covid-19 survivor less than 3 months.

For those of you who are on medication and have comorbidities, you can consult with the treating doctor first.

Second Dose Vaccination Registration

Many Jakartans are starting to enter their second dose vaccination schedule. Then, how to register for the second dose vaccination? For those of you who have registered for the first dose vaccination through JAKI, you must re-register in the following way:

  1. Open JAKI and tap the “Pendaftaran Vaksinasi Covid-19” banner

  2. Enter your ID number and full name according to your ID card, the click “Periksa”

  3. Click the “Daftar Ulang Vaksinasi Kedua” button

  4. Choose a vaccination time and location, also complete your personal data information

  5. Fill in the pre-screening, then download and print the “Kartu Kendali Pelayanan Vaksinasi Covid-19”

  6. Prepare your "Vaccination Card" that you get after receiving dose 1, which then you must bring to the vaccination location for dose 2.

If you do not register for the first dose of vaccination through JAKI, but your data is in JAKI, then you are still required to re-register through JAKI.

Vaccination For Pregnant Women

Based on Circular Letter HK.02.01/I/2007/2021 issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, pregnant women can vaccinate with Sinovac, Pfizer, and Moderna vaccine (according to availability). Here are the requirements:

  1. Vaccination of pregnant women is prioritized in high risk areas

  2. The first dose injection is started in the second trimester of pregnancy

  3. The second dose interval corresponds to the type of vaccine used

  4. Vaccination is deferred if gestational age <13 weeks

  5. The screening process for pregnant women and aged 12-17 years is carried out separately.

Vaccination For Those Who Don’t Have an ID Number

Vaccination requirements are getting easier. For those of you who don't have an ID Number (NIK), now you can still vaccinate in Jakarta, based on Circular Letter HK.02.02/III/15242/2021 issued by the Indonesian Ministry of Health.

Type of Vaccine Used

The Jakarta Provincial Government currently has four types of vaccines used in the mass vaccination program, namely Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Moderna, and Pfizer.

There are special requirements to obtain Moderna and Pfizer vaccines which can be seen in the information below:

Moderna Vaccine

Requirements for getting the Moderna vaccine are as follow:

  • Have a Jakarta ID card or letter of domicile in Jakarta.

  • Never received a dose 1 vaccine and a dose 2 vaccine.

  • For people who can not get the Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines (evidenced by a certificate from a health facility). To see the list of location that administer the Moderna vaccine is displayed in the infographic below.

Pfizer vaccine

For the requirements of getting the Pfizer vaccine includes:

  • Over the age of 12.

  • Have never been vaccinated for first and second dose

  • Have a Jakarta ID card or letter of domicile in Jakarta.

  • Can be given to pregnant/breastfeeding women.

  • Priority for people with Comorbid and autoimmune diseases with a doctor's recommendation letter.

The full list of locations that provide Pfizer vaccine is in the infographic below.

Vaccinations for Covid-19 Survivors

If you are a Covid-19 survivor, then you have to wait for 3 months after recovery to be vaccinated. If after the first dose of vaccine you are infected with Covid-19, then you still have to wait for 3 months. This is because Covid-19 survivors still have Covid-19 antibodies that can survive in their bodies for 3 months.

How to Check JAKI’s Vaccine Quota

You can check the vaccine quota available for registrants through the JAKI application:

  1. Visit corona.jakarta.go.id

  2. Select the "Vaccination" menu

  3. Select the “JAKI’s Vaccination Quota” sub-menu
