New Look of Covid-19 Booster Vaccination Menu on corona.jakarta.go.id

This page is divided into two tabs or categories, namely Booster Vaccines and Primary Vaccines. Because, even though there is a high demand for intensive information regarding booster vaccination, the latest information about primary vaccination is still pretty much needed. 

Booster Vaccination refers to the third dose or booster shot of Covid-19 vaccination, to increase protection from primary vaccination of dose 1 and 2. Meanwhile, Primary Vaccination is vaccination with doses 1 and 2 with the same type of vaccine (homologous) with main function to provide immunity against the Covid-19 virus for a certain period of time.

To view information related to Booster Vaccinations, you can click the Booster Vaccines tab. Several pieces of information will appear. In the first part, which is an introduction to booster vaccination, you will get an explanation of why you need a booster vaccine and what benefits it can bring to the body. 

Scroll down a bit, you will find the second part that explains the requirements for the recipient of the Covid-19 booster vaccine. This section is also equipped with a regulatory basis for the implementation of the Covid-19 booster vaccination. Then, in the section below it, you will find information regarding the terms and criteria for booster vaccines. Through the information in the table, you can find out what type of booster vaccine you can receive based on your primary vaccine type.

If you scroll down again, there will be information about checking booster vaccination tickets through JAKI. This information can be useful for those of you who don't know whether you can get a booster vaccine or not. Because, you can only get a booster vaccine if you meet the requirements for a vaccine recipient, including having a booster vaccination ticket that can be checked at JAKI. There are two scenarios that are likely to arise when you check your booster vaccination ticket through JAKI. Both scenarios and their explanations are listed in the section on the vaccination menu. Don’t forget to read the notes below the scenarios to get direction if you have problems checking your vaccination status.

Not only will you get some information, but you can also directly register for the Covid-19 booster vaccination on this menu. Just scroll down and you will find the registration button. If you want to register for vaccination, click the button. Then, you will be directed to the registration page. If you have registered for a vaccination, you can ignore the button and scroll down again. The next section displays the video of the Governor of DKI Jakarta. In this video, Mr. Anies Baswedan conveyed a safer recommendation to book vaccination appointments to the public by using JAKI.

You can also find out information about the side effects of Covid-19 in the next section. By reading this section, not only you will be more aware of the Post Immunization Adverse Events (AEFIs) that you might experience after your booster shot, but you can also find out what to do if you experience certain side effects, including who to contact and where to report. Pretty useful, right? 

To help those of you who encounter obstacles or problems during vaccination registration, at the end of the Vaccine Booster section, you will find a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs). It will provide answers to most asked questions such as vaccination schedules and locations that are not available at JAKI, problems downloading pre-screening results or vaccination cards or control cards, and many more.

For those of you who are about to get your booster shot but still want to dig information about primary vaccination, or for those of you who are just getting vaccinated with doses 1 or 2, you can click the Primary Vaccines tab at the beginning of the Vaccination page. Related information will appear, starting with the introduction of primary vaccines and their uses. Followed by the requirements for primary vaccine recipients in the section below it. Here, you can also see the source of the regulations that underlie the implementation of primary vaccination. 

At the end of the Primary Vaccine page, you will find information about the terms and criteria for the primary vaccine. The information in the table will help you check which type of vaccine is safe for you according to your age and certain conditions, such as pregnancy. This information will be very useful when you see the quota at the vaccination location because in the vaccine quota page, you can filter by category of vaccine type to make it easier to search.
